One of my favorite stories of possessing vision is about Walt Disney. Because Walt Had

passed away before the Grand Opening of Walt Disney world. Mrs. Disney was asked to

appear on the stage at the opening ceremony. When she was introduced to come to the

podium and greet the crowd, the master of ceremonies said to her, " Mrs. Disney - I just wish

Walt could have seen this!" Mrs. Disney simply responded " He did!"

11- Pay now, play later, play now, pay later - John C. Maxwell

I learned this simple Truth from my dad. It's helped me to discard the notion of immediate

gratification hundreds of time over the years. If I choose to pay the price for my dreams

now. I'll enjoy the rewards of those dreams later. However, if I choose to play now, I may not

have the opportunity for reward later. I'll be too busy playing the price.

Oh, I have found this to ber true! I want to be prepared for very event I face. That's why I

read. that's why I listen to tapes. It's why I study. It's why I dialogue with staff, I want o

reduce the " surprise factor" as much as possible - life it self presents enough surprises. even

for the thoroughly prepared. when I fail to prepare in one areas. I set myself up for potential

failure in other ares as a well.
